American Idol judging scandal exposed - girls will suffer next week
The almost non-stop anti-girl bias of Season 8 of American Idol has reached new lows. In a tactic to eliminate the girls next week, Simon Cowell and his puppets used the Judges’ Save to protect the weakest guy. Despite the views of many critics and the public, that Matt is often the worst contestant, by saving him there will be two finalists eliminated next week.
We predict now the judges will heap rubbish on the girls, or play schoolyard games rather than give the girls the attention and respect they deserve. So next week’s show will be a sham.
There is also growing concern over the alleged votes. Despite falling viewing numbers compared to last year, Ryan Seacrest keeps announcing record numbers of votes being recorded. Why millions less viewers would pay to make millions more votes is very hard to explain. Especially in these days of the credit crunch.
As commentators like MTV have also highlighted the anti-girl bias, it could be sad the way the show rolls out next week.
