Taylor Swift is a Vogue cover girl because she is a fantastic role model
Taylor Swift has worked hard for years to achieve her success and now her music and personality are being honoured. Latest album Fearless went straight to number one on the Billboard charts, the Billboard Top Country Albums, Canadian Albums Chart, and Canadian Top Country Albums.
In typical candid manner, Taylor has explained the background to an appearance on the cover of Teen Vogue: “I go to all these photo shoots, and each time I figure out something new about myself and what I want to wear.”
Taylor has also experienced the other type of photoshoot: “Well, I’ve never had paparazzi in Nashville before; that’s a new thing. You really have a lot of privacy here.”
So was it a large jump to go from music style to catwalk style: “I’ve learned a lot. For a big night, I like Marchesa or Badgley Mischka,” As for the big fashion names, Taylor is equally honest: “I love Oscar de la Renta. I’ve never gotten to wear one of his dresses … if I ever did, I would probably faint.” You may also be interested to know Taylor is “obsessed” with high heels.
Back in school the other kids thought Taylor was weird for liking country music, even going so far as to make fun of her. What must they think now, especially the ones who also decided she was not cool or pretty enough to be in their clique.
Being so open in her views is just as attractive as her looks and her personality. We appreciate all three.
