Time to get busy
Welcome to girlsrock and the opinions of a metal-loving hedonist, originally from Australia and a regular visitor to California and Europe.
Here you’ll find comments and recommendations on various music-related topics, not least female-fronted metal and TV reality shows.
In case you ask why, there are a few reasons:
- TV talent quests are an increasingly important method of finding new talent
- The web allows instant comment to be made
- The combination of the tv show and the web commentary is exciting, fast and (often) informed
All of which means we no longer have to accept the opinions and bias of established writers – we have and share our own opinions!
Nor do we remain slaves of commercial and corporate marketing – we make our own, informed, choices!
